Publicize problem

While the manual sharing buttons work fine, pulling the featured image and using as an excerpt the post meta description, Publicize pulls images from other posts or even the site logo and uses as an excerpt 100-150 words from the original post following [100 more words] or something like that.
Is it possible for publicize to match the manual sharing data?
Im using yoast seo by the way if it helps.
