• I thought free version (offered here) allows us to clone a site in MS, but as far as I’ve used it, it doesn’t work. Clicking the CLONE button doesn’t make a new site. Just nothing happens.

It’s working fantastically to clone sites in MS for thousands of people. Posting a 1 star review is a hurtful way to ask for support. We try to be very responsive to all requests. How can we help? Have you checked your browser inspector to see if there are any errors behind the scenes? Have you tried using the Support button built right into the Cloner that will allow you to copy your Cloner log file locations and send them to us so that we can take a look?

yeah dude, I’d be checking for support.. before you leave a flame review. this plugin works wonders for me.

    Multisite Cloner worked perfectly.

Never Settle, I have never asked for support. Review is a review. Support is a support, isn’t it? I wasn’t asking for you to answer my review, as it’s just my review after all. Although it’s great that you answer reviews other than support requests.

My review is based on free version, and I’m not sure by adding paid add-ons would solve my problem or not. And even if I’ve used all the add-ons, I would never write a review about paid features here. wordpress.org isn’t the place for such purpose. Sites like codecanyon is probably better to get reviews based on premium features.

Wasn’t asking you to purchase anything. You never asked for help with the NS Cloner free, which works perfectly with no add-ons to completely clone full sites in WordPress multisite (as evidenced by @smelsworst and our other very positive reviews). We provide support here and we also eat support time for the FREE version from wherever the requests come (email or whatever).

Your complaint was that it wasn’t working. But we know that it is. So it’s common courtesy to ask for help before saying something is broken, when it could very well be a problem isolated to your environment. And if there is a problem with the NS Cloner whether it’s related to your environment or not, we’d love to be able to have a constructive opportunity to fix the problem for you and maybe others.

We never mentioned add-ons or anything else.

We’re not trying to provide support through your review. We answered your review because it is not an accurate representation of the NS Cloner’s functionality or quality. We have no open bug reports. We’ve had several recent support cases where the fix was always related to the user’s environment.

We’re not asking anything from you, and it’s perfectly your right to leave a 1-star review if you want. We’re simply documenting that the review isn’t an accurate representation of normal results with our plugin.

Glad you found something that worked for you with another plugin. All the best!
