I just started seeing this new warning message today that display in the web site itself (I just updated all the plugins when they appeared). It is strung across the top of my web site above the header:

Warning: session_start(): Function spl_autoload_call() hasn’t defined the class it was called for in /home4/bays/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-simple-paypal-shopping-cart/wp_shopping_cart.php on line 13

What is this referring to? I’m using Thesis theme 1.8.2.

    The web site is http://www.bayareayouthsymphony.org

Thank you for any information you can offer!

Hi anneBLD, I had a look at your URL above and cannot see the error you mentioned. Can you share more information please.

    Thank you

    Thanks for the quick response!

This error apparently only appears in Safari. I just checked it out in Chrome and Firefox and it doesn’t appear there. Here’s a screen shot of what I’m seeing in Safari. It’s the very top of the browser window, and the warning appears on every page.

The plugin appears to be working fine, but it’s just odd and a little annoying that this appears in Safari.

Oh, and now this message is also appearing in the backend at the top of every tab I click on. Any suggestions?

So I guess you are running Mac? is that correct? Do you have the latest version of Safari?

Yes, I’m running on a Mac and the auto-update keeps me up to date on the version.

Hi, I have tested your URL in the following browsers.

    • Firefox
    • Seamonkey
    • Google Chrome
    • IE

It works well on all the above browsers. So I guess it is a problem with Safari. Have you also asked your theme developers?

That version of the thesis theme that you are using is very very old. Have you done customization to this theme? It is referring to a function call that our plugin does’t make.

Yes, I know it’s old… I was afraid this had something to do with the theme and its age. I will ask the theme developers what it would take to upgrade it at this point. I’m a little leery of how involved (time-consuming) an upgrade will be. I did customize the theme a bit.

Thanks for pinpointing what the message is referring to, though.
