Rather than managing multiple blogs' posts, I would prefer to write on one blog and have child blogs automatically import posts if they match a particular category or categories on the parent blog.
Let's say for instance I write, on the parent blog, about a particular area of town. I want that article on the parent, but I also want my topical blog about that area of town to pick up the same article.
How could I go about doing that?
Define "child blogs".

Okay, so I'll try to explain again.
A child blog would simply be a blog that derives information from another blog. It would probably be better to call it a syndicate blog.
So, http://www.domainone.com would be the main blog. http://www.domainonecategoryone.com would be a completely different blog with potentially different theme, but the content would be automatically posted to it every time a particular category on http://www.domainone.com was written about.
