Sorry, imageshack went quite bad (ie. Greedy) since I last used it, so I uploaded the screenshots to tinypic:

@mindkil – I’m not seeing anything out of place in those screenshots … maybe a link to your site instead would be easier to see the issue you are trying to show?

@mindkil – We’ve looked at these images on several different screens at high resolutions and zoomed in … we’re just not seeing these stripes in your examples (or elsewhere).

Interesting, now I also looked at a different computer, browser and it seems OK.
Can it be some problem with Google Chrome? Version 36.0.1985.143 MacOSX Mavericks
@mindkil – That is the precise version I have as my default browser on a new MBP … pushing the screen resolution all the way up and zooming in I cannot see the striping you are describing.

Very strange indeed… I made you another screenshot with 300% enlargement of the web page, where this is visible: http://tinypic.com/r/2ypm2yw/8
Maybe my screen is also a bit light for graphic work. But when I open the thumbnail in photoshop, there is also a shift to RGB 254 – from RGB 255 (pure white)
Thank you for your time and help, you made a great plugin.

@mindkil – I was able to finally find a tool that would show the variations in the “white” but it is still not “visible” to the naked eye.
We do not have a solution to this issue but will add it to the our review of how thumbnails are being created even though we use a standard PHP library currently.
Thanks for your persistence on this issue.
