• A client asked me to install this cart.

The first feature on this wordpress.org plugin page says:

Popular Payment Gateways – Accept PayPal standard, pro, authorize.net, FirstData, and many others.

But this plugin seems to only work with Gateways when you get the pay version.

  • Have you even looked at other shopping systems? WooCommerce, one of the most popular systems, charges 50-100 bucks per gateway, same with shipping calculators, same with downloads, same with, same with, same with.

You are going to have to pay for a plugin of this nature, I am assuming that is just common knowledge, but these guys sell it for $80 bucks with all the gateways, with all the coupons, promotions, with all their live shipping calculators.

$80 bucks is a pair of jeans these days, or a family movie, or a dinner out with the fam. I hardly think a one star rating for this plugin is appropriate since it doesn’t even really articulate the worthiness of the plugin, just that you want it for free.

not trying to be rude, but these guys have really supported me on startup, so just trying to return the favor.

If this is a “Pay-only” plugin, it should mention it on the WordPress Plugin page.

I believe the WooCommerce Plugin page spells out that “PayPal Payments Standard” and a few other payment methods are free and other payment gateways are “Premium”. WP EasyCart plugin advertises everything as if it is included.
