    Hi,

Great plugin. Initially I wanted it in the Header but it messed around with the mobile layout.

So I thought I try the just the plain old shortcode in the home page section. Worked great. However when you click off that page it does not retain the translation it goes back to English.

Is there a way when using just the shortcode to make the translation perpetual as in if you click on a link in the page the next page also gets translated?

    Cheers

  • Hi ps1, the likely reason for this is that you removed the translator from the header. By moving to a template and away from the header, it will only work on pages that use that template. And if GLT is not found there, then it’s not going to translate or remember the user’s translation language.

Hopefully that makes some sense…..let me know if I can help further.

    Thanks! Rob

I’m closing out this topic, as I have not heard further about the issue.
