• Hi

I’m finding that lots of our users aren’t noticing the validation messages, so I wondered if it was possible to change their colour from default black text to bold red.

Any help would be much appreciated, as we’d really like to get them better noticed and stop people saying ‘The form doesn’t work!’

    Cheers

  • The default colour for validation error messages is red in CF7, so I expect that your theme or one of the plugins you are using is interfering with this.

Use Firebug or Chrome Dev Tools to examine the HTML and CSS of your CF7 form in detail. Once you understand how the HTML and CSS is configured in your CF7 form, you should be able to see the CSS changes you need to make.
