Hey, great plugin, it does a lot of great stuff and more, exactly what I was looking for.

I want to apply the two factor authentication function, to all users on the site (except obviously guests), but this should include the Subscribers role. When selecting any combination of the “All User Roles Subject To Two-Factor Authentication” feature, upon saving, it automatically resets back to subscribers unselected and the rest selected.

TL:DR “All User Roles Subject To Two-Factor Authentication” doesn’t save changes to selection

Thank you kindly in advance, you’ve done a great job with this plugin.

For anyone reading this, I’ve found a solution by using a user role editor to substitute the permissions for one of the selected roles, and sacrifice the subscriber role to abyss. I then went into my mysql database, and changed the default role on registration to this changed role.

While it certainly doesn’t fix the issue (which may be a bug of the plugin or some sort of conflict between this plugin and any of the others I have installed), it does let me reach the desired outcome more or less.

I have the same issue! In case it helps out the developer, here is a screencast of the issue. Every time I try to turn off two-factor authentication for specific user roles, it does not save in settings.

I’ve been investigating this and I can replicate this problem. I’ll be releasing a fix for this in the next day or so.

I’ll update this thread when it’s out.

    Hey,

Version 3.2.0 is just released and should address the problem of not saving multiple select fields in the options forms.

This was down to a quirk with PHP and it’s input filter function.

    Thanks for reporting!
    Paul.

    Worked! Thanks Paul!
