last picture added in home page

    Hi

    My website under construction with SNAPS theme
    is this one

    mainly photo website…i wanted to add the last picture added in home page so when once users are connected to the home page, they see my last entry in a wide size that cover the central area

    The customize function don’t allow this. they only give chance to use the widgets adding a recently added picture from nextgen in the footer area..but i need to add the picture in the main box.
    anyone has any clue? thanks in advance for help

    if you’re only using this image on the home page, you can put it directly on the home page template. I don’t know what you mean by “main box” and there is nothing on your site to use as a visual as to the set up you currently have.

    Can you maybe elaborate — or add your home page gallery and explain where you want this last image to be?

    Hi

    I wish to add simply my last picture added in the light grey box (i called it main box) in the middle of the home page, automatically. So every time i add a picture in a gallery , it will be displayed in the home page in preview as my last entry.

    I think i need to customize the nggallery code but i am not that expert yet
