@iillc – Using the Add Media button you can access single images from NextGEN Gallery by clicking on the NextGEN Gallery link on the left side of the modal.

Yes they are available. I select NextGEN, then the gallery I uploaded the images too. However, they do not appear in this table. The images do show up if I navigate through the dashboard to NextGen->Manage Gallery. It is very odd.
@iillc – Can you provide a screen capture of what you are seeing?
There could also be a conflict with another plugin happening as well, you might look into that too.

OK after digging into it I have found out more specifically what it is doing. It appears the “Add Media” images are listing some of the same images on every pagination set.

I have highlighted 2 images that appear once in the sorted gallery on the top of the screen shot. Then draw lines to where they are repeated on each page of the add media listing.
There are 34 image in the gallery. There are also 34 listings in the “add media” pop up. However many images are repeated on each page. Many images never show up on this list because of the repeats.

I think I have resolved the issue.
I reinstalled the plugin but that did not seem to work.
I then reset all of the settings to the default.
Reset NextGEN cache.
Reset website cache.
Went in and configured the plugin. The sort was set to “custom”. So I changed that to image id and descending. That seemed to finally get things to sort correctly.
@iillc – Thanks for the update and sorry for all of the inconveniences you had to go through. I do not recall ever seeing anything similar to what you saw when using the default sort order. I imagine clearing caches is what helped the most in this case.
