What is the error you are encountering?
I only see these weird tags:

You cut and pasted that thing from a Word Document, didn’t you?
In the future, don’t do that. Write it as plain text, no formatting. Then paste it in and format it in the WordPress editor. Alternatively, use an external blogging tool like Live Writer.
But never, ever, paste from Word. Word sucks.
You are copy/pasting from MS Word into the wysiwyg – which is a NO-NO! It keeps all the garbage code Word produces.
Clean your text before pasting (putting it first in Notepad) or use the tools provided on the Write subpanel. Hint: the yellow folder icons with T and W letters.
Thanks for enlightening me as to how this was happening. It was sure hard to find an answer, since Googling for supportEmptyParas just brings up all the WordPress sites that had this problem.
I added a request on the WordPress Trac, we’ll see what they come back with, whether some sort of post-processing filter, or reporting the concern to TinyMCE.

I very well may have cut and pasted from word. Don’t recall…I will cut & paste from notepad or live writer on next post and see if that corrects the problem. Thanks for the tip.
If you cut paste into HTML editor instead of Visual, this should not be a problem.
No, it would still be a problem. Word just plain sucks when it comes to this sort of thing.
The Visual editor has a specific button labeled “Paste from Word” for just this reason, but even then I would avoid it entirely. Just don’t use Word.
