Hello, people!
If anyone can spare a few moments, I would appreciate any criticism:

The site uses Sandbox + Blueprint CSS + a child theme.
I intend to work on some aspects (for example, now the site’s focus is not explicit or maybe obvious). For now I’m trying to make it useable: is it easy to read? Is navigation easy? Is the alternate style good or useful?
Or anything else you want to comment on. :-)
Thanks for reading,

I would consider applying a maximum width to your main content area. Even on my puny 17" monitor the line lengths get too long to be legible.
Thanks, Chrisber!
I will have to think about how to do this best...
For now I added an option to the style switcher. (I would leave it as an option permanently, but I don’t know if it is good having so many options.)
Here are direct links:
Full width:

Max width set at 69em for the body:

The revised version is a big improvement. I just happen to believe that fixed width is still the way to go to control the legibility of your site. From a typographic standpoint, the ideal line length is only 55 characters. If you go much beyond that your site becomes much harder to read. A fixed width between 850 and 1000px is usually a comfortable fit. There aren't that many 800 x 600 users left out there, and I tend to regard them as subhuman anyway and not deserving of special consideration. Right up there with IE6 users!
Thanks!
I reversed the defaults. Now the default is maximum width (set at 69em currently), and there is an option to go full-width.
It seems to me that this setup is more sensible. :-)
Thanks again for your help!
I think that's a smart move. Just imagine what it would look like if someone was using an Apple 30" display!
