   Hi,

   I have just installed Twitter Tools and am curious how it might handle scheduled posts. I would like to know this before enabling the setting to have posts automatically sent to Twitter.

   In my experience with Twitter Tools it sends the post information to Twitter at the same time that the scheduled article becomes available on your site.

   This seemed to work with the stable version, but has stopped working with 1.5b3. It just doesn't seem to be sending the tweet on scheduled posts.

   1.5.1a also has this bug. It doesn't send a tweet on scheduled posts.

   I'm also confirming this bug. 1.5.1a does NOT tweet a scheduled post.

   Moreover, it "unsets" the 'Notify Twitter about this post?' checkbox after posting.

   I have to manually check it and re-save the post for it to tweet. A bit of a pain since I write posts late at night and schedule them for publishing later in the day for the lunch-bunch.

   I can confirm this bug in 1.5.1a too. It unsets the checkbox on the Edit Post page.

   I'm also having this problem. Converted over to using Twitter Updater but now it's fighting with zz.gd. http://www.ingoal.info/archives/2008/07/08/twitter-updater/

   oh and I should mention I emailed Alex King, the plugin developer, about this.

    This is a bug in the current implementation. Will be fixed in a future release. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Any word on when his will be fixed? or should I just use another plugin until it's fixed?

    For those who'd like to know, the latest release 1.6b1 still does not resolve the issue. If you need a temporary solution in the meantime I would suggest twitterfeed.com

    Regardless this is still a great plugin. I simply can't function on Twitter and Wordpress without it!

    Yesterday installed v2.0 and have the same problem - scheduled post for midnight, but it didn't appear on twitter.
    Is it still not fixed? I am using WP v2.8.1
