Header Slider Not Showing Up

I looked through the support forum and followed the instructions given about how to get a header slider running. I setup a post category called “Featured” with the slug “featured” and then made 3 separate posts with a picture (media attached – pictures are 1400px X 500px) and made sure to click on Featured on each post. What I see on my webpage though is 3 white dots and the left/right slider buttons in the header area, but no photos. Are my pictures too large? I’m not sure why they aren’t showing up. I made sure no header image was chosen also.

did you set your images as featured images?

I checked the ‘Featured’ box on each post when I made them. I have no header images set.

A little bit below the box you checked you will see an option to set a featured image. Did you use this to add your image? You have to do this for the slider to appear.

Ossie Heffell.. That worked! Thank you very much. Now I have the issue where there is 2 small, black rectangular boxes (one with 3 white dots) located at the bottom center of all of my featured photos.

Do you happen to know why this is there?

I have one category called Featured with slug “featured”, 3 post in this category. Each post have one featured image. The slider is not working.

Any hints?
