   Hey,

   I recently used the export function to switch my blog (http://www.eatvancouver.net) to a new server. It went smoothly, except for 2 issues:

   1. This is them more important one - all the old comments show up in my dashboard, but they don't display on the actual page. I'm really quite befuddled by this one.

   2. I use the excerpt feature quite a bit to disply a small fragment of text, with a "read more" link. After the switch, the excerpt field of most posts is empty so nothing displays quite right on the main page anymore. I can fix this by simply going through all the entries and copying the excerpt back in, although I'd rather not do that for 200+ posts.

   Any help with this would be much appreciated and please keep in mind that my SQL knowledge is limited.

   I've done a search for these problems but haven't found anything that matches well, but if it is a common problem, a link to the solution would be fantastic as well.

   you know, i just looked at it closer and it looks like the comments are on the posts, but it just says "no comments" on each post. Still, that's strange, right?

   I'm having the same problem. The comments are showing up under each post, but above it it says "No Comments". And on the blog index page all my posts show up as "no comments". So weird.
