Moving to new host – 2 many view fields and adding views to theme's widget

    2 things -one is that I’m having trouble importing the posts from the old site, have had to do it several times to get them all, so now, I have 3 custom fields with the number of page views for each of several hundred posts. Some have different numbers because they are getting more views between exports from the old (still live) site. Is there a way to delete the extras?

    Also, the theme I am using (Avada) has a tabbed widget that shows recent and popular posts. I would like to incorporate the number of views into that widget. Is that possible?

    Hmm I don’t have a way that I can think of to delete duplicate view fields unless all the duplicate view field has a common value like “1”. If not you probably have to delete it one by one using phpmyadmin.

    I think you should ask your theme author to see whether the views can be included since the widget is part of your theme. The widget that comes with the plugin like Most View Posts has the view count beside the post title.
