Website Down due to Theme Edit

    Hi,

    I was trying to add Google Adsense into my Hueman theme in the functions php section and my whole website it now down.

    I can’t even access the login page. I’ve emailed my host for help but had no reply up to now.

    Could anyone help? I’m keen to get the website back up and running as soon as possible.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Do you know how to check your PHP error log on the server? Can you post what it says?

    Also, can you FTP into your theme folder and rename the plugins folder to something like Plugins2 on the remote server. If that brings your site back, then you have a plugin that is causing an issue. Add them back one by one until you flatline again. Then you will know which one it is.

    I have no idea how to check the PHP error log. I can see it in my cloud dashboard but I don’t know what it all means as I’m relatively new to the whole wordpress world.

    I think it might be me that broke the site as it happened after I played with the theme.
