The very beginning

    Like many plugins, I can’t find the very beginning of starting to use this plugin.
    I installed it, created the index and now? Still no search results showing up for the most basic searches. I probably miss one little step. But what? Is there a new search widget? How does WordPress know it has to use Relevanssi when doing a search? Is the 404-page search function automatically connected to Relevanssi?

    Relevanssi will take over the WP search automatically, covering all standard search forms. There’s no widget, because WP has a perfectly good search widget already installed.

    If you’re not seeing any results, that’s probably a problem with your template. See Most important Relevanssi debugging trick.
