Do not delete files (WP 3.9.2)

    Hi SUser79,

    Are you referring to the uploaded files within the uploads directory? If so, this is the correct behaviour. The reason behind this is because if you plan to use a different plugin or method of distributing the files they are still located on the server.

    Yes, how then can delete a file? It must be possible …

    my folder: /wordpress/wp-content/uploads/delightful-downloads/

    The only way to delete files at the moment is through FTP.

    It’s a feature that I want to add and is on the to-do list, but I have other features higher up on the list at the moment. I will get to it sooner rather than later though.
