Enhanced Results – Presales Question

    It states in the features for the Enhanced Results addon that you can sort the results by featured listings:
    Featured, Rank, Closest
    Featured, Rank, A..Z
    Featured then Closest
    Featured then A..Z

    I have two questions:
    1-Does this addon add an additional field to the locations so I can mark them as featured listings or do I need something else as well?

    2-If I selected “Featured then Closest” do only the featured listings for the category I’ve selected display or all featured items?

    What I’m looking to do is mark locations as featured and then have them display first before all others but only within categories.

    Say I have 10 locations, 5 in category X, and 5 in category Y.
    Say also that of these 10 I have 3 marked as featured locations, 2 of which are in category X and one is in category Y.
    If I do a search for listings in category Y will it display only the featured item from Y or will it show all the featured listings from X and Y?
