Redirect to a page or post option is not working

    Hi,

    The “Redirect to a page or post” option is not working. I set this option and added the page id number below and I get redirected to the home page instead of the page I set.

    Note* I tried multiple different pages and a post and it sill didn’t work.

    Plugin versions:
    Groups Version 1.4.10
    Groups 404 Redirect Version 1.2.2

    Hi,

    Assuming that you have marked the “Redirect to a page or post” option and indicated a post ID, if it still brings you to the home page, it seems that it isn’t able to identify the post based on the ID you are providing.

    After you click the Save button with a post ID indicated, do you get to see the post’s title below where it says Title: ?

    If not, please provide details on other plugins activated and where your site is hosted. There might be a conflict, the option normally works fine.

    Hey @itthinx,

    I’m having the same problem as @bradford – setting the redirect to a page/ post ID just redirects to the homepage.

    Page ID is set correctly and page title shows in the Title field.

    On the redirect, the correct redirect page URL flashes in the browser (tried Chrome/Firefox/Safari) before sending user to the homepage.

    http://www.nocapocis.org – a “protected” page would be http://www.nocapocis.org/submit/

    The site is on Dreamhost / there is a long list of plugins, but deactivating them all and trying the default theme didn’t make any difference.
