Problem solved; it was an easy one. Having been away from web design since the days when HTML was all there was, it took a bit of tinkering and chatting to gain a feel for CSS and PHP. I simply had to ferret out a remote forum inhabited by some folk whose mission is camaraderie and assistance, as opposed to the self-important pedantry which so freely oozes here.

Browsing through these WP forums, I discovered several others who’d also been ignored for failing to properly bow at the altar and/or neglecting the prevailing arse-smooching protocols.

Thanks, but no thanks. Life is simply too short to waste another minute suffering this nest of supercilious, hubristic prima donnas. Please cross me off your list (delete my forum account) — I shan’t bother you again.
