Notification mail X days before expiration & upon expiration

    Could someone please help me on how to get a notification mail to the author X days (f.e. 2 weeks) before expiration of the post and upon expiration?

    It can be a very simple mail, only mentioning the expiration date & link to the post (so I can either update the expiration date / write a new post on this topic).

    Please help me with your custom code / by the plugin author!

    As an alternative (or ideally, on top of my initial question on the mail notification), making it possible to sort the posts overview ascending / descending on the expiration date would be very handy to do the follow up on expiring posts…
