Condition Group Cannot Be Empty Error

When I go in to create a new sidebar for an author, add new group, use the search tab (for authors) and select to insert into the condition and click save I receive the error: Condition Group Cannot be Empty

It’s not empty, because I can see the listed author in the group.

If I go through the View All function and follow the same process I have no errors.

The issue is there are more than 20 authors and search goes alphabetically – so one is limited or needs to reconstruct the users profiles in order to obtain them – this function worked prior to the last two updates.
