   Hi,

   I'm new to wordpress and started reading the documents about the basic stuff and by following some tutorials on how to build a template from scretch so i would understand wordpress better.

   I managed to customize most of the blog part and my next step was to add a photoalbum. So i installed nextgen which worked all fine and played around in de adminpanel to create some albums and galleries. Now i want to see what it looks like and i don't understand how i make it appear on the frontend of my webpage. I want to have a page with my blogs on it and another for my photoalbum.
   In didn't understand the part where to put the shortcode. Also how do i create a link to my photo album in my menu.

   Does anyone have any tips on certain documents to read to get more handy with this kind of problems?

   I finally found the answer to where and how to put the shortcode.
   For people who're searching for the answer to the same problem as me:

   Simply place the shortcode [gallery='id'] within the content box of your post or page. Then make sure you replace the 'id' with the id number of your gallery. Refresh and it should work.
