Gallery of externally hosted images?

I’m using WordPress for a fairly run-of-the-mill website, which will include a photo gallery. To save bandwidth I’d like to have a photo gallery which uses externally-hosted images. I’m aware that due to a lack of APIs from the other services most plugins only offer automated integration with Flickr. I’m not wanting a full integration though – I just want a plugin that will ask me for a list of image URLs, generate thumbnails of them (or ask me for a thumbnail URL) and not copy the images to my server. I don’t need integration with any particular service, I’m quite happy copy-pasting the image URLs. Are there any WP plugins that can do this?
