We are using Google CSE on our site but have noticed that files that are uploaded via Memphis Docs are not crawled by Google CSE. We need the documents to be searchable by key words in the document title within MD. I have renamed (formatted) the file names in MD but it’s still not working. Would it be possible to add this functionality for Google compatibility or do you know of a work around to make a “typed” search possible?

    Thanks

Search should display the post of the file you have uploaded. For example if I have a file called “cat-in-hat” and I type “cat” or “hat” the search results displays the post/posts of the related file/files, clicking on the link will bring you to the download page. I tested this using the basic WordPress search and it works fine with an number of different files.

The important part of the search is that there is a post linked to the file, if you have deleted the linked post search will return nothing, this method allows me to use built in WordPress functionality.

That being said I haven’t used the Google CSE plugin before so I not sure how it works fully, could you give me a little more detail on what the problem is so I can better understand how Google CSE works.

    Cheers
