   WP is working, added several plugins, they all work. But adding wassup, I get:

   "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /usr/local/www/data/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wassup/wassup.php on line 2991"

   there is no line beyond 2990:

   wc -l /usr/local/www/data/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wassup/wassup.php
   2990 /usr/local/www/data/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wassup/wassup.php

   I checked all the permissions with the WP-security scan, made a few corrections, but still wassup activation fails.

   Hello,

   That happens because the code at line @703 is
   <? } //end if geoip_map
   when it should be
   <?php } //end if geoip_map

   That worked for me.

   Yes jgbustos solution is right! The svn code was fixed and version 1.6.3 in on the way, keep in touch.
