I think the HTML element that you’re referencing in the first sentence of your post is being automatically removed by the template engine that renders the posts on this forum. Can you describe your problem in further detail with Pastebin?

Maybe it’s that markup is stripped between editors when switching between them (visual and text editors). After years of discussion it doesn’t seem like you can fix that.

I’m angry with wordpress because the thing is removed with every switch I do between visual & text editor.
I’m sorry that you’re having a bad time of it with the visual editor. Can you explain what you’re trying to accomplish?
The reason that I’m asking is that depending on what exactly you’re trying to do or what problem you are having specifically will help me and or others assist you with some specific instructions or troubleshooting steps.

In my message above the thing that is causing me this problem is not there. I’m referring to this thing:

Now I put slashes in between each letter.
That thing is removed every time I switch from visual to text editor and make me spend a lot of time and frustration.
