• Hi there!

I’m unable to edit my content or theme at all. I’m using multisite so all of my wordpress sites use the same plugins and themes…and they’re fine. It’s just the one that seems to be giving me problems. Any time I try to ‘preview changes’ or ‘update’ the content reverts back to how it was.

I’ve cleared my browser cache and it didn’t help.

Any advice/help would be very much appreciated as I’m kind of new to this and have run out of ideas!

    Update:

I’ve disabled all plugins and it didn’t help.

I also tried to change my theme and it wouldn’t let me.

    Help please!

Looks to me like a corrupt table/database, try to check/repair your tables. You can do that from wp-config or using phpMyAdmin.

    Hi Alin,

I think you’re right. I tried repairing the tables with wp-config and phpmyAdmin. When I attempted to do this through wp-config the site didn’t seem to recognize the WP_ALLOW_REPAIR code. I tried it with another site and it worked, so I know it’s just this one site that’s causing issues.

The previous webmaster didn’t set up a backup system and so, I don’t have any recent backups. Do you have any more ideas on how to safely repair the corrupted tables? Or thoughts on how to migrate all of the information to a new database?

    Thanks!
