    Hi,

I just installed this plugin on a local wordpress installation and found the following error/ warning messages when I go to the page “wp-admin/profile.php” to edit my profile settings (just before the field where you set your e-mail address):

Warning: get_class() expects parameter 1 to be object, null given in \wp-content\plugins\all-in-one-seo-pack\aioseop_module_manager.php on line 39

This message appears there 4 times.

I have not done much more than enabling this plugin and defining some settings. Do you have an idea what can cause these messages?

    Hi Tobias,

Can you confirm whether you have WP_DEBUG set to false or true (http://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress#WP_DEBUG). Can you also let me know what modules you have activated in Feature Manager and whether deactivating or activating the Social Meta module fixes this.

Hi and thanks for the prompt response… WP_DEBUG is set to false and activating Social Meta let these messages disappear.

    Hi Tobias,

I can’t replicate this on any of our test sites but it could well be a bug with the new feature that we implemented for Facebook Author that adds a Facebook field to the Edit User screen. If you go to All in One SEO, Social Meta, Facebook Settings you’ll see a new checkbox for Show Facebook Author on Articles. If this is checked it adds a Facebook field to the Edit User screen where an author can enter their Facebook profile URL which All in One SEO Pack then outputs as the article:author meta tag.

Can you go to All in One SEO, Performance and send us a debug report by entering our email address support@semperfiwebdesign.com in the Email debug information field. We’ll take a look and see if it is a bug and issue a patch in the next release.

Unfortunately I run this installation locally so I cannot send emails. Does it help you when I copy and paste the information from the tables on performance page or are there sent some addtional information when sent by email?

    Hi Tobias,

That report includes details of your All in One SEO Pack configuration and a list of what plugins you have installed. Do you have any plugins that could be conflicting with this new feature in All in One SEO Pack, i.e. adding their own Facebook field to the Edit User screen?
