Hi pagearabia, as you might see in the source code:
<!-- Generated by Google News Sitemap 1.0.9 -->
That is not my plugin but another. If you want to keep using that plugin, then there should be no problem. If you want to use the News Sitemap generated by my plugin, you will need to (1) disable that other plugin and (2) delete via FTP the static file (if any) that was created by that plugin. It’s called sitemap-news.xml and most likely lives in the root of your site.
By the way, http://pagearabia.co/sitemap.xml is also from another plugin… Same goes for that file: delete it if you want to use the sitemap feeds as visible on http://pagearabia.co/?feed=sitemap and http://pagearabia.co/?feed=sitemap-news
The file was deleted
But there is another problem where there is not anything on the link
The output you see there is still not from my plugin. It’s from Google Sitemap Generator… You cannot run these two plugins together.
Stopped all other additions
Can you see the example
Can you see the example
When you click on any link moves me to the main page of the site
sitemap.xml
?feed=sitemap
Hmmm… yes I see that. Only the http://pagearabia.co/sitemap-posttype-page.xml and http://pagearabia.co/sitemap-home.xml do not get redirected. I suspect it has something to do with the date (year) in the URL of the post sitemaps.
I cannot reproduce the issue even with the permalink structure /%post_id%
First, try resaving your permalink structure on Settings > Permalinks.
Then, can you switch the Sitemap > Posts settings to Split by: None? Then the full posts sitemap at http://pagearabia.co/sitemap-posttype-post.xml will be used. Downside is that this sitemap is rather large and takes a while to generate. Maybe the option Split by: Month works for you?
Then consider if you are using any plugin that does redirection to the homepage for certain requests and temporarily switch them off. Or are there any Nginx rules that might be triggered by that .2014. in the URL?
