Feature request: Options to hide widget if zero posts

The title says it all. It would be nice if there was an option to hide the widget (so that it renders absolutely no markup) if no posts match the criteria.
Currently, the best I can do is to do
.no-posts { display:none }… but that still renders the widget title and div.widget
