Blank Avatar by Default

    I have set up a Comments page using <?php comments_template(); ?> and I am also using Jetpack Comments.

    I would like all comments posted to be displayed with a blank avatar but I do not see any options to enable this.

    Once I enable “Show Avatars”, if the user has an account on my site, it will display his user photo from his account. But I do not want this. I do not want any user photos to be shown. Always only blank avatar…

    And if I disable “Show Avatars” altogether, then when a comment is posted, there is a small, disproportionate box that takes the place of the avatar, and it looks very unpresentable.

    Any advice or ideas?
