Firstly by far this is the best e-commerce plugin I have used, and appreciate the excellent work from the team.

I have successfully installed WooCommerce on a Word Press Multisite. Using Japanese language on a subfolder site everything translates perfectly, however on the checkout page the strings ‘first name’, ‘last name’, ‘province’ etc are still in English. This seems to be an issue that others have had, however I cannot work out how to fix it. I have tried:

Adding the untranslated strings to the japanese .PO file and recompiling, then moving translated MO and PO to a ‘/woocommerce’ folder in ‘wp-content/languages’
The strings that are missing appear to exist in ‘woocommerce-ja_JP.po’ but not in ‘woocommerce-ja.po’.

Any advise would be much appreciated.

Sorry for the bother, I have found the solution.

It appears what I was doing was correct, however I hadn’t properly saved the MO file from POEDIT. I have re-uploaded and the strings are translated.
