How can I make Readium theme ase-compatible?

Hi, this is Ernie. First of all, thank you for such a wonderful plugin and I’m really looking forward to creating more stories with this tool!

I was wondering however, how do I make an existing template ase-compatible exactly (https://github.com/rewdy/readium to be exact)? As you can imagine, my main issue is that anything in the main body gets restricted to content width at max (see http://blog.ernie.sg/2014/07/11/on-surviving-a-car-accident-near-chongqing/), so I can’t do full-width parallax in the middle of the content or something. This really sucks.

Tried Simple Custom CSS (pasted the style code from style.css off a sample ase template on github) and Code Snippets (per developer’s guide), but both didn’t work. Any advice?
