Sorry I’ve been busy these days. Player cards are very tricky. Approval is not automatic. Read carefully the documentation, you have to provide a good experience on mobile and desktop.

Do you host your own videos?

    Hi Julien,

No problem, thanks for the reply.
I do not host my own videos, i use link from youtube.
I understand that i can just post the youtube link, but i would like to drive traffic to my website.
It’s actually the same problem with this post http://wordpress.org/support/topic/unable-to-validate-player-card-wyoutube-video?replies=12#post-5826223, but i don’t really understand how the user finally solve the problem.
I got the reply from Twitter that it’s not working properly on desktop.
    What should i change?

    Thanks.

He managed to make it work by leaving the Stream field blank like YouTube does.

    Hi Julien,

I also leave the stream field blank but i got below message from Twitter.
It’s not working on desktop, but it works on iOS and Android.
Where do you think is the problem?

    Hello,

We’re writing to inform you that a request from this account to have a Player Card whitelisted on our Platform has been rejected per our policies (https://dev.twitter.com/docs/cards/types/player-card), specifically:

Test your experience across all Twitter clients, including Twitter’s iPhone and Android apps, as well as twitter.com and mobile.twitter.com. Cards that do not work in all Twitter clients listed will not be approved. Your card loads on iOS and Android, but not on desktop. Testing instructions are available here: https://dev.twitter.com/docs/cards/types/player-card#Testing_your_Card

Once these issues have been resolved, please resubmit your Player Card to our validator (https://dev.twitter.com/docs/cards/validation/validator) Once submitted, one of our team members will review it for compliance.

Sorry been very very busy. I’ve found no particular clue for you. A lot of users have nailed it. But that does not help you. The only thing I can tell is that it’s working so I suggest you to try with different configuration.

This card type is tricky (no automatic approval) and you’re trying to do something unusual with it. Hope you’ll find a better way to do this, maybe with another plugin.
