Fake email subscribers continue in Jetpack Subscriptions

    Here is a thread closed from over 3 years ago and yet this still continues today.

    Numerous false spammy looking subcription followers pointing to fake .wordpress.com sites.
    Mostly yahoo, hotmail and outllok accounts. There is something definetly wrong going on here with this service and allowing for this to happen. Event he numerous spammy .wordpress.com accounts and sites. Here is only a small sample size for you to see out of hundreds

    I recommend you post this in the Jetpack support forums. Not much will be done about it in the How To and Troubleshooting thread. I would bring it to the attention of a JetPack developer.
