Support » Themes and Templates » Footer widgets disappeared for no apparent reason

  • My website is http://comafungi.org. It uses the Modular theme: http://www.mojo-themes.com/item/modulartheme-a-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/

There should be four widgets and a copyright notice in the footer, underneath the Twitter feed. The widgets and copyright notice were displaying until recently. I did not change any settings that would have made the widgets and copyright notice disappear.

The only thing that I think could possibly have caused this problem is the most recent WordPress upgrade, though, to be honest, because upgrades are so painless, I don’t remember when I upgraded. Is there a way to figure out if the upgrade caused the problem before going to the trouble of downgrading? Is there a way to determine when I upgraded (b/c if it was a while ago, I know that the upgrade didn’t cause the problem)?

  • Sorry, but you’re using a premium/paid theme. It’s best to go to the support site where you bought the theme for help with customizations and issues. You paid for support when you bought the theme, so you should contact the people who sold you the theme. These forums are for themes available in the WordPress theme directory at wordpress.org/themes/. See http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Commercial_Products
