  • I had some text widget related problems that caused my website (actually WP 2.6.1 admin interface) to crash.

    Strangely, the problem seems now to be gone – after several reinstalls and restores. Maybe removing unused wp_options records helped? Maybe the Repair DB feature of WP-DBManager helped. I don’t know.

    Anyway… there is option_id=75 option_name=widget_text
    that has some text widgets (html code) that is not used anymore and is not visible anywhere.

    Can it be safely emptied?
