• Hello Antoine,

I’m thinking of a system where I would like to give away a price after each game for the best predictor.

The thing is that in order to be considered for a price, users have to pay in some kind of way for each game.

Is there a way that I can configure this per game in the football pool?

    Thanks in advance

I have done some testing with the Paid Membership Pro (PMP) plugin in the past and that worked pretty well. It allows you to make parts of your site only accessible to paying users (it also has some payment service provider integrations).

The PMP plugin is extensible via hooks. So if it does not completely fit your wishes, you may be able to develop a plugin yourself that combines the hooks from the PMP plugin with the one in my plugin. This requires PHP knowledge of course; and more than the basic stuff.

That sounds a bit difficult 😉 I’ll see if I can give it a try.

    Thanks anyway.

I’m trying to add usermeta fields to a user profile at the moment.
I can only find the field: “footballpool_played”.

Are there more usermeta data field for the football pool?

For instance, the user ranking and user predictions?

    Thanks in advance.

The ranking and predictions for a player are stored in custom tables (pool_wp_scorehistory and pool_wp_predictions).

The user ranking can also be displayed with a shortcode. There is no shortcode for the predictions of a player at the moment, but I am working on one.
