Pagination with WP_Query

    Hello,

    The Problem: I can’t seem to get pagination working on my new websites pages. I’ve tried to implement many solutions to no avail. In the end I would love to be able to use an ajax plugin to load the next pages posts on the same page, but for starters I’d be more than happy if I can just get the standard pagination to work.

    I’m pretty new to WordPress and I have no idea how I was even able to get what I already have to work. I basically started this current theme from scratch. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

    Thanks for the reply keesiemeijer. I have read the codex’s information on page pagination, but none of the code that I implement seems to work. I’ve been trying to get the pagination to work for the past three days, and I’ve read a large amount of posts from other users that seem to have the same issue.

    I did recently get my main index page to paginate somewhat though. The only problem was that only 1 post was showing per page(even though I had set my posts_per_page to 6). The pagination only went back to two pages and then it didn’t provide any options for accessing any subsequent pages. The post excerpts also disappeared after the change. Thanks for your time.
