Did you go to the settings page and enable the admin option under selective plugin loading?

Didn’t before, did now. Admin areas enabled. Selective Plugin loading enabled. I created a test page, turned off all plugins for this page, save it, reopen, and I still see my other options for Slidervilla when I go to add media. I can only guess that that’s because the media is being handled at a higher level.

I was hoping to actually resolve the real problem in that I cannot modify any picture when I click on it (from 3.9.1). I thought by turning off all plugins on the page that I could isolate the troublemaker.

    Any thoughts?

You have to create a plugin filter with the permalink set to the url you are accessing to get to the media page.

Or globally disable them. If globally disabling them doesn’t disable anything on the admin side then you might not have the MU plugin in place.

Not sure how to do this. My permalink is set to:
    /%category%/%postname%/ currently.

I tried globally disabling them and I did the Move of the MU Plugin.

/%category%/%postname%/ is your permalink structure. Each post has a permalink (What wordpress calls a url). Add a new plugin filter and you will see the permalink field.
