Ok there is no button called "save" there should be a button called "Update File" or you should see the text

You need to make this file writable before you can save your changes. See the Codex for more information.

So do you just see nothing at all?

What about in a different browser?

What permissions have you set? Depending on your hosting config, you may need to set your theme's files to 777 rather than 775.

Hi. It's not those files that you need to change, it's the contents of

    /wp-content/themes/your-theme-name/

You can change the other files back.

John Please don't double post, they will be deleted very quickly. Also this is a volunteer ran forum so a little patience will go along way. Also bumping will reduce your chances of getting an answer because it removes you from the no-replies section of the forum where alot of volunteers go to answer questions.

Did you give each file in the theme directory 777 as well. ie a recursive permission change.

Most ftp clients have an option to apply permissions recursively.

instead of save/update button.the following line is coming

"You need to make this file writable before you can save your changes. See the Codex for more information."
