I’m vetting different plugin solutions for a WooCommerce-based site. I’m looking for a single plugin that performs all the below functions:

    1. Free shipping for specific products in a shopping cart. Must be limited to certain shipping services, and shipping only applies to those select items in cart

    2. Free goods automatically added to cart at check-out when certain criteria are met (either dollar value, or cart is filled with particular items)

    3. Quantity discounts – unit price changes when ordering 5, 10, 15, 20, etc. of a particular item

    4. Buy X, get Y off

I think the Pro version of this covers 2, 3, and 4, but any opinions are appreciated! Hopefully this plugin can do it all! I’ve had trouble with pricing conflicts in the past. 🙂

    Hi @cosmicraptor,
Thanks for your query. You’re absolutely right, questions 2-4 are all functions of the Pro Version. But as you suspected, Pricing Deals only handles pricing, and does not interact with shipping atall, so on question 1 the answer is, unfortunately, no.

How can i set the function as asked at point #3 ?

    for example:

    single unit price for 1-10items – 3€
single unit price for 11-20 items – 2,95
single unit price for 21-30 items – 2,90
single unit price for 31+ items – 2,85

i did not find it in the documentation. does it work with variable products or only with simple products?

    Hi @mitglied_xyz,

The short answers to your questions are Yes and Yes!

    The long answers are:

    (1) you’re asking about Pricing Tiers. Here’s an example of how to do that:
    http://www.varktech.com/documentation/pricing-deals/examples/#advanced
look for “Pricing Tiers – Buy 2-4, get 10% off, Buy 5-10 15% off”

    (2) Variable products can be acted upon by direct selection or by inclusion in a larger group. Here’s the documentation:
    http://www.varktech.com/documentation/pricing-deals/introrule/
    As the first line states,
“Create rules by Product + Logged-in Role, or Variation + Logged-in Role!”
Just search for ‘variation’ in the documentation, you’ll see the discussions.

    Best,
    Vark
