[resolved] 2 Strange Issues (5 posts)

    I have recently updated my wordpress blog and as soon as I did I get 2 very annoying issues. The first one and the one that is more important is the fact that some of my old posts are being reposted as if they had been posted that day, when in fact they were posted over a year ago....

    Secondly the visual editor has vanished and this is the same on every theme I have tried to use, such as the Default one. All it shows is HTML despite what tab I am using.

    Im not sure if the visual editor has been broken via a Windows 7 Update or its actually a wordpress issue somewhere. I have tried it in 3 different browsers and get the same results.

    So how can I fix these 2 issues.....

    I also need to add that a lot of the old posts have had their date changed to todays date, for example this one: http://ghoststorm.co.uk/product-review-asus-g73jh-gaming-notebook/ which was actually posted late last year Oct 25, 2010 @ 14:05 to be precise.

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    - re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    Thanks esmi I did all that this morning and got visual editor up and going again but old posts are still being reposted.
