2 questions: background and left sidebar

    hi,

    started working on a website with the nice looking magazine basic theme. It works quite okay. However: I want to have an image as a background, but the one I insert turns up very small and disappears below the text/header. Can you please suggest me what to do?

    And, the left side of the content is quite empty. How can I make a left sidebar in it with some widgets/plugins like social media buttons?

    The theme has a white background for the page, so your image will only appear around the site. Also, make sure your background image is large enough to fill the entire space or that you have selected that setting in the Background Image Editor admin page.

    You can have a left sidebar. Just select that layout in the theme options.
