    Hello!
Im a total noob at virtual multi blogging and Im here to ask if it's actually what I need to accomplish the following:

Let's say I have 5 domains (or more than 1 anyway).
All the domains must share the same posts and users BUT they must have different SEO settings and different header images.

Would virtual multi blog be my solution?
Is there any other way to achieve what I need?

    Thank you! :)

WordPress Multi-User would be recommended with some WPMU-specific plugins to assist you with your configuration. WPMU forum - http://mu.wordpress.org/forums/

I cant quite understand if WPMU is actually what I need, because I thought you would use WPMU for users to have their own blog hosted through your main website, therefore you'd have lots of different blogs under a main one... but what I need is basically have 2 or more blogs with SAME registered users/posts BUT different seo and theme.

This is the optimal time to use WPMU when codebases between WP and WPMU will be merging soon. Going the WPMU way at this point instead of your multiple installations, will make your blogs/sites future-proof and more headache-proof. But that's just my opinion :-)

There's a plugin specifically for WPMU where you can publish one post across several blogs within your WPMU installation. WPMU set up in subdomain structure will enable you to map your domain names to the subdomain, which in turn, makes for good SEO even with same content.

However, setting up WPMU is not that easy and has more requirements for servers supporting WPMU. If that is beyond your scope or not what you want then check out http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_Multiple_Blogs
where you can install WP's using one database and configure users table to share with the installations
