2 default user roles

Hi,

I want to allow 2 types of users to register, a content creator type and a viewer type. However, both should be able to register automatically (I should not have to assign the content creator role manually after the registration has defaulted to viewer).

The best way I can think of is to have 2 different registration forms from different parts of the website and each assign a different default role.

Does anyone know of a plugin that can make this possible?

Alternatively, I don’t even mind using Facebook Connect for the registering the viewer type user however I have not come across any Connect plugins that let you define the user type.

My search has yielded no information as to how this problem can be resolved and I would appreciate and tips on how this can be done.
